My Expression Is CENSORED

My reason for being [CENSORED] SOPA as an artist and an individual is this: I still get paid for doing my job whether or not it gets distributed by people other than me. I still get exposure even if I'm not the one distributing. It's free [CENSORED], in essence, and if you take that away from artists, how the heck are we going to become well known? You are [CENSORED] freedom of speech and expression by enacting these laws.

The [CENSORED] is that when there are billions of downloads and file transfers each day, there is really no stopping piracy of music and other electronic media. People will still get things from one another through other [CENSORED]. But what happens when every site people use on a daily basis disappears? A new one that is harder to find will pop up, and pretty soon you have more problems on your hands than piracy.

Did I also mention that foreign, oppressive governments do this to their people? Media control is THE [CENSORED] STEP to a dictatorship and to loss of our freedom and rights.

Please, do not hinder personal [CENSORED] and [CENSORED] just because big business says you have to. Do what the people, not what a small handful of rich, lazy [CENSORED] want you to do. Don't vote for SOPA, don't let the next generation of your voters feel oppressed by their government, and don't be one of the ones put down in history for destroying the first thing humans made that is bigger than themselves: the internet.

[CENSORED] just doesn't make sense.
